Fife Acquired brain injury outreach Nurse (ABION) can be accessed with a referral to Fife Rehabilitation Service by the acute hospital, GP or other health professionals. The ABION provides contact to support individuals with an Acquired brain injury (ABI) and their families. The support offered is tailored to the individuals need and may include information and advice. The ABION can help you and your family learn and understand more about the effects of brain injury and support you to cope with changes. The ABION is a member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team within Fife Rehabilitation Service at Cameron Hospital.
